Kickstart Kindergarten

Kickstart Kindergarten provides tutoring to students for any subject in which they might need help with an emphasis on math. Our chapter partners with the Jonesboro Kindergarten Center where each member of this project works with 4 students each week. JA members provide tutoring to students and are available for any subject in which students might need a little extra help.

 

Each member works 30 minutes to 1 hour each week with their students. We hope to not just be there to provide tutoring but to also be an additional positive influence in their day.

 

Additionally, we have had the opportunity to assist in classrooms and events throughout the school year where additional support is needed. Our goal is to help the students further develop academic skills and set them up for a bright future throughout their school years and into adulthood.
